Bridge the Legal – IT Gap to Reduce Legal Costs and Risk: Integrated eDiscovery to preserve and review in-place
Date: Wednesday, July 22, 2009
Time: 12:30 PM (EDT)/9:30 AM (PDT)
Description:
eDiscovery costs have been increasing over 30% per year, an expense largely caused by poor data management policies. Many companies today rely on reactive and inefficient methods to perform legal hold, review, and collection work related to eDiscovery. Properly identifying custodians, preserving information in disparate data sources, and collecting the relevant information in an efficient and defensible manner are critical for successful eDiscovery but also require tight collaboration between legal and IT.
